Hey Friends, it’s finally fall! I don’t know about you, but I’m kind of over the summer heat and I’m ready to start the fall festivities. My only issue is that I could never think of enough costume ideas for Halloween. You won’t believe how easy this is to make! It’s perfect for last minute planning. It also looks cozy and warm for a cold and possibly rainy Halloween night. Check out the full instructions and more pictures over at Make It & Love It. We could all use a little extra sparkle in our lives, right?! Why not give these DIY fairy wings a try? The best part is that you can customize them anyway you want; butterfly, fairy, blinged out bat, it’s just a matter of changing the paint colors!
Homemade Halloween costumes can be frightfully complicated and even more expensive than the pre-made variety, but they really don’t have to be. I just had to put together one for girls too! Below you will see a picture of each Super hero costume for boys. Then below I have a link to each costume so you can find the costume your son will love most. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I have EVER bought a Halloween costume at full price. Every year after Halloween my husband and I would stock up on costumes for the kids or hit up rummage sales.
It’s amazing how much stores discount costumes when Halloween is officially over. At one point we had costumes for our son for the next five years! This little guy has got the look down! I’ve heard a few snarky comments about dressing your kid up like a bum, but I think it’s pretty funny myself. Not to mention easy, cheap and perfect for a last minute costume idea! The little sweetie modelling this costume is in pink, but you could just as easily do the other classic cotton candy colour for a boy. Get the full instructions, here at Style me pretty.
